About Us

A native of Houston, Dr. Remedios has had a successful private practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery since 1988. He earned his DDS degree in 1982 and went on to complete his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Residency in 1988, both from the University of Texas. During that time, Dr. Remedios received multiple awards and honors including the UTDB Department of Endodontics Award, American Association of Endodontics Award, and Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award.Professionally, he has served on numerous dental industry boards and committees.

Dr. Remedios has been a Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Board of Director; Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and finally President of the Houston Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons; Deputy Chief of Service at St. Luke’s Hospital; member of the Greater Houston Dental Society Peer Review Committee; Clinical Assistant Professor for the Oral and Maxillofacial Department at the Universtiy of Texas Dental Branch in Houston; served on the board for pier review for judicial committee at Greater Houston Dental Society; and served on Record Board Committee at The Methodist Hospital.

This continuing education activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards of the ADA Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) through the joint efforts between the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Houston Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the University of Texas Health Science Center, Department of OMS.
